Dr. Yehia Massoud, a visionary in technology and academia, holds a distinguished career marked by his dual contributions to academia and industry. After earning a Ph.D. from MIT in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, he began his professional journey at Synopsys in Silicon Valley. Here, he led teams in developing cutting-edge technology solutions that are now integral to global users’ daily experiences.

In 2003, Dr. Massoud joined Rice University, where he quickly made his mark by achieving tenure in under four years and leading the ECE graduate program. His remarkable ability to marry innovative research with practical applications set a new benchmark in academia, encouraging students to push the boundaries of traditional engineering education.

From Rice University, Dr. Massoud moved to Stevens Institute of Technology as Dean of the School of Systems and Enterprises. Under his leadership, the institution witnessed unprecedented growth in industrial partnerships and student enrollment.
